Meet Dr. Luis Peña
Specializing in Asthma, COPD, Lung Cancer, Interstitial Lung Disease, Covid, and Sleep Medicine, Dr. Luis Javier Peña brings a wealth of expertise to Lung MD.
Dr. Peña earned his M.D. degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and completed a residency in Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He then further pursued his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the same institution.
As a testament to his proficiency, Dr. Peña holds board certifications in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Additionally, he is honored to be a fellow of the American College of Thoracic Medicine.
Dr. Peña is currently board certified in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is also a fellow of the American College of Thoracic Medicine.
